Schools #4 in Ha Giang, #5 in Ben Tre, and #6 in Kien Giang were grand opened on June 27, July 4, and July 5, respectively.  Thanks to all donors, volunteers, staff, supporters for making them a reality for 100's of children.

The Build a School Foundation has proudly reached other compassionate leaders and philanthropists in Houston, USA and Sydney, Australia after our efforts were featured on the cover page of the Toastmasters International magazine in April 2016.  Please welcome Ms. Eva Pham, Ms. Wendy Nguyen, CPA, and Ms. Vikki Hoang who will lead Houston campaign, and the great author of The Ugly Daughter, Ms. Julia Legian who will lead the Sydney campaign.  Bravo ladies!

20Mar2016 5K Walk Raised $6.4K USD in One Day - Pledge Form

Within 24 hours of our 5K Walk - 5 Friends - $5 Each - 5 Locations press release, we are pleased to announce the generous support and pledge of Ms. Phuong-Anh Nguyen, owner of Fortitude Professional Services.  Ms. Phuong-Anh donated $500 for the walk, and pledged to build one school in Ha Giang, Vietnam.

All the same day, our long-term supporter of 2 schools and 1 bridge construction in 2015 Ms. Lily Thai, owner of LT Financial Services, donated $100 for the walk.

Thank YOU both of you for making a difference in changing the lives of 100's of Vietnamese children for generations.

The popular magazine that reaches two million San Diego residents interviewed our Leadership Foundation Academy last month.  They are impressed by the two schools and one bridge that we built in six months to educate and create hope for the children of Vietnam.  Thank you and we are proud of you. 

20Mar16 Walk 5K to Build Schools in Vietnam

In less than six months of 2015, with your generous supports of "Build a School - Leave a Legacy" project, together we built:

Project #1: Three-classroom kindergarten school in Dong Tam commune, Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province in northern Vietnam.  This school serves 53 students.

Grand Opening Dong Tam school and Gifts for All Children of Ha Giang

Project #2: One-class room kindergarten school in Bao Ai commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province in northern Vietnam.  This school serves over 40 kindergartners.

Presents for All Bao Ai Children on School Opening Day

Project #3: a 31-m bridge at Dat Bien commune, Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province in the southern Vietnam.  This bridge serves 100's of students and local farmers who can now safely cross the river without the fear of drowning.
